COMPONENTS OF A FYTOTEXTILE® LIVING WALL
Fytotextile® is a modular textile system, whose optimised combination of layers creates an excellent growing medium for plants. Its design increases root oxygenation and improves irrigation distribution by protecting the surface where it is installed. The system allows easy inspection of the irrigation system for better maintenance.

Fytotextile® is a modular textile system, whose optimised combination of layers creates an excellent growing medium for plants. Its design increases root oxygenation and improves irrigation distribution by protecting the surface where it is installed. The system allows easy inspection of the irrigation system for better maintenance.
FYTOTEXTILE® TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE
The Fytotextile® system provides numerous technical features, making it an advanced solution for the installation of advanced living walls. In addition to its excellent mechanical performance, its high porosity maximises the gas exchange of the buried part of the plant, which is responsible for air biofiltration and fixation of VOCs, which are so harmful to health.
This is described in the scientific publication “Volatile organic compound removal by means of a felt-based living wall to improve indoor air quality”, carried out within the Naturib research group.
